SUDBURY VALLEY
NEW HORIZONS MUSIC

Remembering...

Our members who have passed from this world
have left us with many memories, musical and otherwise.

MARCIA ANDERSON, Violin - died January 10, 2024

Marcia joined the SVNHM violin section in its very first year, fall 2010, and was with us for 14 years; she was planning on playing this January as well. She was a gentle and caring person and a friend of many. She was a person who just kept trying and worked on learning new things, such as how to record herself for our virtual performances during the COVID lockdown time.

John started taking cello lessons when he was 80 years old and began playing with us two and a half years later, in 2011. He was a member of our cello section for 9 years until COVID hit and we went virtual. His willingness to try new things and to keep on plugging was admired by all! He was a member of our SVNHM Nonagenarian Society.
