Workshops & Sectionals 2011-2012
Workshop Schedule
Term 3 Requirements:
Please come to 2 sectionals and workshops.
During the regular workshops you need to gradeout (play for me) on the following skills (which should be practiced at home as part of your practice):
- Winds (all people who play an instrument that you BLOW through): 2 scales and one skill lick
- Percussion: one rudiment, one scale, a drum skill lick and a mallet percussion skill lick.
- Two special workshops and two regular workshops
- Enrichment is suggested, but not required.
- Band Fest (Bravo!)
- And of course, practice and come to rehearsals and workshops/sectionals (2 workshops, 2 sectionals)
- AND, most importantly, have fun making music together!
