Wednesday, June 13, 2012 6:30-7:45 AM Start your day off right by bringing the whole family to our annual Band Awards Breakfast! Year end awards and certificates will be presented and the jazz band will perform. Price: $4.00 per person. Tickets will be available at the door, but please purchase tickets in advance -- it helps us with the head count. Fill out the form below and if possible, purchase your tickets by June 12th. Menu: We will be serving a continental breakfast including muffins, croissants or sweet rolls, fresh fruit, juice, milk, tea and coffee. Hope you will join us and bring the family! Come enjoy good food and good company! If you have already signed up (at the spring concert) to donate food, help, etc., you will be contacted -- and thanks! If you have not yet had the chance to arrange to help, now is a great time to do so and Deb (Cohen) & Heather (Pineault) have made it easy by setting up a page on Volunteer Spot. Follow the link and sign up to help, or email Deb to volunteer. We need people to donate coffee, tea, cups, napkins, sugar, fruit bowls and other items AND we need people to clean up, and order and procure the food and other supplies, and to help set up on Tuesday after school. Heather tells me that we are particularly in need of food at the moment (5/29). If you can help, please do!! (FYI: Yes, all band students need to pay for a ticket, except for JzBd members -- they are working for their breakfasts!) Please print & send in the slip below with your money. Checks may be made out to Wayland Middle School. (This is hard to talk about, but I am going to do it anyway... Often very generous parents want to get me a gift at the end of the year. A few years back I requested that instead of a gift for me, you make a donation to our "instrument fund" -- this is how we got our new drums for Memorial Day, a new drum set a few years back, a piccolo and other things!
